Our business provides a three-day trip. From Marrakech, a desert excursion departs for Fes. It entails camel trekking in the peaceful desert camp tents of Erg Chebbi, where you can see Azrou, Ifrane, cedar forests where you can spot Macaque monkeys, Ziz Valley, Todra Gorge, Dades Gorge, and more.
Your tour guide will pick you up at 8:00 am, and the first day’s itinerary will take you from Marrakech to the Dades Gorges via the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas Pass, giving you a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and ancient Berber villages in the High Atlas. After lunch at one of the Kasbah restaurants, you continue exploring the UNESCO World Heritage site. You come first, and then we travel through Skoura and Rose Valley to the Dades Gorges. In Dades Gorges, we’ll spend the night in a serene kasbah.
After breakfast, our team will take you from the Dades Gorges to Erg Chebbi before leading you to Merzouga’s desert. Villages of the Berber people are scattered along the route. We will pass through the Todra Gorges, Tenghir, Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, where we will sense the start of the Tafilalet Saharan oasis.
After a brief period of relaxation, we continue driving to a hotel in Merzouga, where you will leave the rest of your luggage and take some of your belongings (just what you need for a night in the desert) in a small bag. We will then embark on a thrilling camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes.
This is a fantastic chance to capture beautiful images of the sunset and sunrise. When we get to the camp, we’ll hike up to the highest dunes to go sand boarding and see the sun go down. In the middle of the Sahara, we will stay up or spend the night in a camp of Berber nomad tents while listening to drumming.
Our team will wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dune in the Sahara desert and you take your breakfast. After these joyful moments, you will ride your camel back to the hotel where you can shower. You will depart to Errachidia via Erfoud, Aoufous and the valley of Ziz then stopping for overlook of the oasis of Aoufous in the Tafilalte region. We Continue to Midelt across the pass of Tizi N’talghamt and have lunch break. And directly after lunch you will be driven to Fes (the medieval city) through the Cedar forest near Azrou and the mountain of the middle Atlas with the possibility to see the Barbary apes (monkies). You may have a stop in Ifrane before arriving to Fes. Drop off in Fes. And not forget to wish you a safe travels and some great moments spent with us throughout your life.
